Managing Stress

The people facing stress are now part of life. This stress, either physiological or biological is an organism's response to a stressor such as an environmental condition. Stress management refers to a spectrum of techniques and psychotherapies aimed at controlling a person’s levels of stress. Some of the common strategies and techniques are Self-monitoring, tailoring, material reinforcement, social reinforcement, social support, self-contracting, contracting with significant other, shaping, reminders, self-help groups, and professional help.
